The order itself turned out okay, but the communication wasn’t great. I had to follow up more than once just to get basic updates, and when they did reply, it felt rushed and not very clear. This is where it got annoying because I didn’t feel like I should have to keep chasing them for information. Overall, the product was fine, but the back-and-forth made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be...

I needed a couple tools and some rental equipment for a weekend job, and Shell Lumber ended up having most of what I was looking for. i wasn’t sure if I should’ve checked a few places first, but it saved me from running all over town. One item was out, which had me second-guessing whether I planned things well enough, but the staff pointed me toward a decent alternative. Overall, it worked out well.

The custom trim showed up uneven, so I had to sand it down myself to make it look right. Frustrating, especially when everything these days feels like it’s handled by some automated system that doesn’t catch the obvious stuff a real person would notice.

The store is laid out really well and isn’t confusing like some lumber places can be. I found the boards and hardware quickly, and the aisles were clean too. It sorta made the whole trip way easier than I was expecting
